Collection Specialist Inc. is a newly formed Collection Agency.
The unique blend of experienced administrative and collection staff will accelerate the process of agency transition.
Fiona Khadim has over 16 years experience in all phases of Collection Agency administration and is licensed by the Ministry
of Consumer and Commercial Relations to operate as a collection agency.
Cindy Thibodeau is the Collections Manager that brings with her 10 years of professional debt recovery experience. She is well
versed in all aspects of the Ontario Small Claims Courts Justice system. She is a qualified law clerk and an extremely effective collector.
Petra Ballantyne has a wealth of experience in all aspects of Collection agency administration. She is the Office Manager with
8 years of collection agency experience. She is versatile and very efficient at various tasks. She is also licensed as a collector
under the Collection Agency Act.
Collection Specialist Inc. has invested in technology that enables us to assure you that your client data and information is kept
confidential when in our our company's possession.
We have installed high security medeco entrance lock set with numbered keys. Management will maintain a log of key holders and
duly assign privileges. Our main filling room will be locked and accessed to debtor files will be restricted to permission from
the Collections Manager. Management will review the file access log on a regular basis to improve or correct deficiencies. The
premises is protected with a security system with offsite monitoring.
We have equipped our computer systems with layered software and hardware firewall protection. Our computer systems are connected
to uninterrupted power supplies (UPS). We are also protected by anti-virus software with updates. We have secure login in with
confidential individual password. The professional "COLLECT" software that we are using allows different levels of access so that
employees would not be able to alter data other that what is necessary. Additionally data is backed up regularly and stored at
monitored offsite location. "COLLECT" performs daily maintenance of database. We also have on contract an experienced computer
technician. Our disaster recovery planning is thorough and also includes maintaining essential equipment offsite to facilitate
recovery from property damage or computer failure. We are compliant with the new privacy legislation that were effected in
January, 2004. Documents are shredded onsite as necessary, and archived hardcopies are kept for 7 years as required by law.
