Collection Specialist Inc. is licensed and bonded under the
Ontario Collection Agencies Act and the Ontario Consumer Reporting Act.
All our Collectors are licensed under the Collection Agencies Act.
Collection Specialist Inc. does both consumer and commercial collections
in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Pre-Collection Service
We will send your slow paying accounts up to three letters on our letterhead
asking the slow paying account to pay you directly. Your return address appears
on the letters, and when the slow paying account pays you, there is no commission.
If the slow paying account refuses to pay you despite our letters and your calls,
you then have the option of placing the account for full regular collection.
The cost is $12.00 per account with a minimum order of 20 accounts ($240.00 Canadian)
The benefit of this service is that you will further improve your in-house
collections, thereby reducing your outside collection costs.
Full Collection Service
Our professional collectors work the account along with our own collection letters.
When collection is made, commission is taken at the agreed upon rates. With your
permission, we will file claims in Small Claims Court. There is a separate fee
structure for Small Claims Court. Accounts can be listed for full regular collection
without first going through the pre-collection stage.
You would only deal with one collector and/or the manager.

Any account listed for full regular collection is reported to Equifax and the Credit
Bureau of Southern Ontario.
Reduced rates are available for higher volumes.
Tenant Eviction
We offer full tenant eviction services.
